AAging Better In-Home Care, (formerly known as Alternative Health Care), is one of North Idaho’s largest and most trusted providers of quality, affordable in-home healthcare services for seniors and the disabled of all ages. Serving the greater Coeur d'Alene area and all five northern counties of Idaho, our services cover all non-medical in-home needs but also include skilled nursing care for the severely ill or disabled, for Respite and companion care, for personal care services of all types, and for Hospice and the Homemaker Program. These options provide the ability for seniors and the disabled to “age better” in their own homes and live independently at home in a safe and secure environment.

However, AAging Better's in home senior care services offers an alternative to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or other live-in situations. Our experienced caring homemakers and caregivers provide up to 24 hour care, 7 days a week at some of the most affordable rates offered in North Idaho. From several hours a day, up to 24 hours per day, seniors and other individuals can feel at ease remaining in their own homes knowing that a caring provider or nurse will be there to assist any time of day or night. Our caregivers can help with all the everyday tasks of daily living like meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping and errands. And our nursing staff can provide virtually any skilled medical care needed in order to keep individuals safe and effective at home, regardless of the illness or disability.
