Our Philosophy

Virtually all individuals say that they prefer to stay in their own homes as they age and, if disabled, stay as independent as possible while in their own place. We are dedicated to supporting children, adults, frail seniors and the disabled to live safely at home with independence, comfort and dignity.  AAging Better offers an important alternative to extended stays in the hospital, or being placed in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or other pediatric or adult care situation. Our experienced nurses, nurse’s aides (NACs/CNAs), home health aides and caregivers provide comprehesive care in the home at some of the most affordable rates offered in North Idaho and the greater Spokane Metro Area. From two hours a day, up to 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, individuals of every age or level of disability can remain comfortably in their own homes knowing that a well-trained caregiver or nurse will be there to assist any time of day or night.

Our services cover a wide-range of dementia and non-medical home care needs for seniors, frail or disabled adults in North Idaho and the Spokane Metro Area, as well as skilled nursing care for complex medical conditions for disabled pediatric and adult individuals in North Idaho.  We also provide respite care, companion care and personal care services of all types for military veterans (and spouses), Hospice patients, Assisted Living residents and program participants of both state Area Agencies on Aging.  All of these options provide the ability for seniors and adult or pediatric disabled individuals to “age better” in their own homes and live independently in a safe, secure and familiar environment.

Our compassionate caregivers can provide help with all of the everyday tasks of daily living like meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping and errands, bathing and assistance with dressing–and much more, depending on the needs of the client. And our nursing staff can provide virtually any skilled care services needed in order to keep disabled little ones or adults safe and functioning at home, regardless of the illness or disability.  As a locally-owned and veteran-owned homecare agency, we can assist with any needs that families, veterans, seniors or the disabled may have.
